The Project

At EJ Lawn & Landscape, one of our favorite parts of the job is seeing just how dramatic a difference a full yard cleanup can make. It’s more than just mowing and trimming — it’s about uncovering the potential that’s been hiding under months (or even years) of overgrowth.

In one recent project, we tackled a property that had ivy completely covering the backyard stairs — so much so, you wouldn’t have even known they were there! After carefully removing all that thick, tangled growth and cleaning up the surrounding area, the space instantly came back to life. The homeowners were shocked at how much more open and welcoming their yard felt once it was cleared and tidy again.

Beyond clearing the backyard stairs, we uncovered an old shed that had been hidden under years of overgrowth. After carefully removing the dense vines and brush, the shed and surrounding area were fully revealed and the space instantly felt more open and organized.
We also tackled the front garden, trimming back overgrown plants, removing debris, and redefining garden beds so the entrance to the home looked clean, inviting, and well-maintained.

All of this — the backyard transformation, shed reveal, and front garden cleanup — was completed in just one day, leaving the homeowners amazed at how much could be accomplished in such a short time.
