The Project

This full yard cleanup project focused on restoring usable space in a Rochester backyard while preserving the privacy the homeowners wanted. Over time, the bushes along the property line had grown far beyond their intended footprint, taking up a large portion of the yard and making the space feel closed in.

Rather than removing the bushes entirely, we trimmed them back approximately four to five feet. This approach allowed the homeowners to keep their privacy screen while gaining back a significant amount of open yard space.

After trimming and shaping the bushes, we cleaned up all debris and redefined the yard’s layout. The result is a backyard that feels larger, more open, and far easier to enjoy and maintain for the rest of the season.
