The Project

This project focused on removing an old backyard pond that had fallen into disrepair over time. The pond had become filled with leaves, debris, and organic buildup, making it more of a maintenance issue than a feature the homeowners could enjoy.

We began by removing the existing pond liner, rocks, and accumulated debris. Years of sediment and organic material were carefully excavated to fully expose the original pond footprint. Once cleared, reusable stone was stacked and saved for future use elsewhere on the property.

After everything was removed, the area was filled in stages to ensure proper compaction and long-term stability. The space was then graded and leveled to prepare it for the next phase of the backyard transformation. This pond removal created a clean, stable foundation that allowed the homeowners to move forward with a new paver patio installation built directly over the former pond location. Our Pond Removal Process
